Weight.

I'm going to ask you a few quick questions. I want you to answer them as bluntly as possible... this is a zero judgment and a fully supportive place.

(Plus...I'm answering them on this post for the whole world to see!)


  • How much time have you spent thinking about your weight in the past week?How much time have you spent comparing your body to someone else's in the past week?What did you emotionally, mentally and physically get by doing the things listed above?

  I'll go ahead and smash down the walls of secrets... I spent quite a bit of time thinking about my weight this past week. I compared my body to other's a couple times, especially the new college kids running all over town. I emotionally, mentally, and physically gained NOTHING from this. In fact, I lost precious moments of my day worrying about it.


 Is that how we really want to spend our lives? We are only alive once!! ONCE! *gasp*

  What do you really want in life? What are your dreams? What are your hopes? What are your goals? What is that thing you have always wanted to try? What is that date you have always wanted to go on? What is that outfit you have always wanted to wear? What is that topic you have always wanted to learn about? What is that hobby you have always wanted to start? What is that memory you have always wanted to relive? What do you want to be remembered for? What do you want to tell your Grandkids about?



Those are the things to think about! Those are the things that matter! Your weight is JUST A NUMBER.....scratch that... OUR WEIGHT IS JUST A NUMBER!!
